ABOUT THE TRAINER
Helping Families Build Stronger Relationships Through Better Communication
Over 12 years of professional dog training experience helping families understand how dogs naturally learn and communicate so they can enjoy a lifetime of trust, confidence, and companionship together.
I don't train dogs because they're broken… I train because I believe every dog deserves to be understood.
Why I started training
MY STORY
Back in 2009, I wasn't planning on becoming a dog trainer, I simply wanted to compete in upland hunting events with a Labrador Retriever. After unexpectedly receiving the puppy I'd hoped for, we spent years training, traveling, and competing together, earning trophies and creating memories across the country.
But the greatest lesson that dog ever taught me didn't happen at a competition.
It happened when I watched the relationship he built with my daughter.
That's when I realized dogs aren't just companions they have the ability to shape our lives in ways we never expect.
Like many owners, I struggled early in my journey and was fortunate to learn from incredible mentors who helped me understand how dogs naturally think, learn, and communicate. Their knowledge shaped the trainer I became, and today it's my mission to pass those lessons on to others.
Instinctive Canine Philosophy
Dogs don't learn through frustration, yelling, or repeating commands. They learn through clear, instinctive communication that speaks to who they are as animals.
At Instinctive Canine, our philosophy is simple: bridge the gap between humans and dogs by teaching owners how to communicate in a language their dog naturally understands.
By working with a dog's natural instincts instead of fighting them, we create understanding, trust, and lasting results.
